We have 58 acres of woods out back...Three creeks come together at the bottom of the hill and join in the closest gully....it's rough terrain...but gorgeous! Our trails meet up with the Chautauqua County snowmobile trail at the top of the hill... from there, it's open trails!
Having had an interest in dogsledding....the rest is history
My dogs are all White...I can't help but think I sound like Elmer Fudd when I say that!...anyway my dogs are Samoyeds (pronounced Sam - ee - yeds) and White Siberian Huskies... Hence my dubbing them "Siberian Sams"...an intentional cross...they're both northern breeds and the Sam line gives them tolerance where the Husky line gives them strength and loyalty...these dogs have to work as a team...if you could see the terrain around here you would understand why I need a good 'team' that I can trust when I run my sled through the woods near trees and the edges of cliffs, over frozen (or not!) water and marshland...
At any given time, a dog may prove to be better than the rest at leading the team...that's why I say he's my "current" leader | |

then again....I might skip the meal because it would be too filling to run back home on! ....which makes more room for Molsons, but then I would have to stop in the woods on the way back....hmmm....okay, three beers...That's it! | ![]() |

The bartender thinks for a moment and says,
"Alright. The toilet's right around the corner."
